Nvidia Unveils Next-Gen RTX 50-Series Gaming Chips at CES 2025 with AI Technology

Nvidia’s CEO, Jensen Huang, revealed the company’s next-generation gaming chips at the CES 2025 technology show in Las Vegas. The RTX 50-series graphics cards are powered by Nvidia’s Blackwell artificial intelligence (AI) technology, promising movie-quality graphics and a performance boost that’s twice as fast as previous models. Prices for the new chips range from $549 to $1,999, catering to a broad range of gamers and tech enthusiasts.

The RTX 50-series chips deliver highly detailed real-time graphics featuring dynamic textures and complex maneuvers, marking a major leap forward in gaming technology. The announcement was met with excitement from the tech community, with professionals from institutions like California Institute of Technology praising the incredible speed and visual quality of the new cards.

The chips are set to be available for consumers by late January, with demand expected to be high. Huang also discussed Nvidia’s evolution from a graphics chipmaker to a global leader in AI chips, with a market value exceeding $3 trillion. Despite this, Nvidia faces growing regulatory scrutiny from agencies in the US, UK, European Union, South Korea, and China due to its dominance in the AI chip market.

With CES 2025 attracting more than 150,000 attendees and over 4,500 exhibitors, Nvidia’s keynote is one of the most anticipated tech events of the year, showcasing the company’s cutting-edge developments in AI and gaming hardware.
